Prysmian Group Baltics' sustainability goals and activities
We are committed to ensuring the sustainability of our processes and to safeguarding the environment. Since 2022, Prysmian Group Baltics coordinates its regional sustainability-supporting activities based on the group's sustainability strategy. The latest performance indicators and related explanations have been aggregated in the Baltics sustainability report 2022.
To ensure sustainability, the primary and most important goal is to make electricity production clean. Together with our partners, we are committed to modernising energy transmission and distribution and telecommunication infrastructures. At the same time, the sustainability of each organisation and therefore our strategic view is more extensive.
Prysmian Group implements its sustainability strategy through annual goals that are in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The goals are clear and measurable, and the company's progress is benchmarked against them annually to ensure continuous improvement. The Baltics’ scorecard shows that the region is performing well in multiple areas. In 2022, from the 16 indicators, we selected focus areas in which we sought to find opportunities and realise improvement. Baltics sustainability report 2022 summarises our activities and results but also includes the next steps and introduces additional CO2-reducing and sustainability-increasing practices.
Through our sustainability goals and actions, we are committed to creating a better future for ourselves, our partners, our customers and our community.
