AS Draka Cables to become Prysmian Group Baltics AS from the 2nd of July
We will continue to offer quality cables from the respected Draka, Prysmian and Keila Kaabel brands together with the latest addition, General Cable, under the new business name.
The Keila cable factory has a long history. In fact, it’s not only the change of our business name we are celebrating; we are also recognising 50 years since the start of cable manufacturing in Keila. Our factory was among the first in the Baltics to invest in a quality management system, and our whole production process strictly complies with the ISO certification standards. We also hold a Green Energy certificate, which confirms that our production is 100% based on green energy.
In 2011, we became part of Prysmian Group, the world’s largest cable manufacturer. Today, General Cable also belongs to the Group and the names of the companies will be unified as a natural part of this process, in line with the Group’s common strategy. We will continue to offer quality cables with our legacy and traditions, while also embracing innovation and proudly adopting the new business name.
